Dr. Ooi Yee Sen’s professional journey is marked by a commitment to excellence and a dedication to providing top-notch dental care. Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from AIMST University in 2017, he subsequently served for 1.5 years with the Ministry of Health, stationed in the district of Arau, Perlis.
In 2020, Dr. Ooi took a significant step in his career by establishing Best Smile Dental Clinic, driven by a vision centered on delivering quality dental treatment through responsible dentistry and ethical patient care.
His expertise spans across various areas of dentistry, including clear aligners, SEMCD (Suction Effective Mandibular Complete Denture), aesthetic dentistry, minor oral surgery, and digital dentistry. Dr. Ooi actively participates in workshops and courses tailored to his interests, resulting in his certification as an Invisalign and SEMCD provider in Penang.
Dr. Ooi really wants to be the best at what he does, so he keeps learning and getting better at fixing teeth. His main aim is to give complete and caring dental treatment. He cares a lot about making sure his patients are happy and healthy. Dr. Ooi works hard to help people have better teeth and a better life.

Dr. Rachel Ng Sue Lyn’s journey in dentistry exemplifies a commitment to excellence and a passion for patient care. Graduating at the top of her class and university, she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from AIMST University in 2017, where her outstanding achievements were acknowledged with the titles of Gold Medalist and Best Dental Student of the Year.
After graduation, Dr. Rachel embarked on a two-year tenure with the Ministry of Health, providing primary care services at Klinik Pergigian Jalan Macalister, as well as undertaking clinical attachments in Oral Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry at Hospital Pulau Pinang.
Dr. Rachel’s passion for orthodontics became evident as she pursued advanced training, culminating in her completion of the Progressive Orthodontic Seminar and earning the prestigious FICCDE award. This dedication to continuous learning reflects her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field and delivering the highest standard of care to her patients.
Known for her genuine care for patients, Dr. Rachel consistently prioritizes their well-being, striving to create a comfortable and soothing treatment experience for each individual.

Dr. Vimahl Dass a/l Paramanandam is an expert in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, specializing in surgical procedures involving the mouth, jaw, and face. He currently practices at Hospital Pulau Pinang
He completed his education at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya, graduating with a Master of Clinical Dentistry (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) degree in 2013. This rigorous program provided him with advanced training and specialized knowledge in his field.
Dr. Vimahl Dass’s work primarily focuses on performing surgeries to address conditions such as cleft lip and palate, facial injuries, and tumors affecting the jaw and face. His expertise and skills are instrumental in providing comprehensive care to patients with complex oral and facial conditions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Vimahl Dass has gained valuable experience working in various hospitals, including Kuala Lumpur Hospital, Sungai Buloh Hospital, Kajang Hospital, Lahad Datu Hospital, Tawau Hospital and now Hospital Pulau Pinang (HOD). This diverse experience has honed his surgical proficiency and enhanced his ability to handle a wide range of oral and maxillofacial cases with precision and expertise.

After completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at AIMST University in 2016, Dr. Ng Chun Hown began his professional career with the Ministry of Health. For three years, he served at Klinik Pergigian Berapit in Penang, where he dedicated himself to addressing the dental needs of patients in the Seberang Perai Tengah area.
Driven by his passion for orthodontics, Dr. Ng pursued advanced studies at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). He successfully earned a Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics in 2023, marking a significant achievement in his career.
Following the completion of his specialized studies in Hong Kong, Dr. Ng returned to Malaysia and rejoined his alma mater, AIMST University. Here, he assumed the role of lecturer, specializing in orthodontics. His research interests include obstructive sleep apnea, clear aligners, and biomechanics, reflecting his dedication to advancing knowledge in the field.
Dr. Ng’s professional affiliations with esteemed organizations such as the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (2022, 2023 in orthodontics), the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (2022), and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (2023) underscore his commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of orthodontic advancements.
DR EDRIC TAN WEI KHING

Dr. Edric Tan Wei Khing earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from AIMST University in 2017. Before graduating, he embarked on a management journey across various fields, culminating in the completion of his MBA in 2021.
Despite enjoying success in management, Dr. Edric made the decision to return to the dental field in 2021. He dedicated two years to serving the Ministry of Health in Seberang Perai Utara, Pulau Pinang.
During his undergraduate tenure, he actively engaged in AIMST Dental Student Association events, holding leadership roles. Continuing his commitment to public service, Dr. Edric presently serves as an EXCO member in the Malaysian Dental Association Northern Zone for the 2023-2025 term.
In his professional pursuits, Dr. Edric showcases a profound passion for all facets of dental care, specializing in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. With a commitment to delivering holistic dental care, Dr. Edric has actively participated in numerous workshops and Continuing Dental Education programs to stay abreast of current philosophies and practices in the field.
